- Flatten the result so it cannot be edited
How It Works
Open the PDF
Choose the file. Pages appear one under another, and form fields, if the PDF has them, can be typed into right on the page.
Add your signature
Tap Signature, draw it or type your name, then drag it into place and pull the corner to resize. Initials, text, date and check marks work the same way.
Download the signed PDF
Create the PDF and download it. Flatten is on by default, so the marks become part of the page.
What Kind of Signature This Is
The page puts an image of your signature on the PDF. That is a simple electronic signature: the same thing as signing on paper, scanning the page and sending it. It is not a certified or qualified digital signature with a certificate, and this page does not check who signed.
Whether a simple electronic signature is accepted is decided by whoever asked you to sign and by the rules that apply to the document. If you are not sure, ask them before you send it.
Flatten
With Flatten on, the signature, the text you added and any form fields become part of the page. Nobody can move your signature or change the values in a PDF reader afterwards. Turn it off only if someone still has to fill in the form after you.

Questions
Is my PDF uploaded
No. The PDF is opened by your browser, the signature is drawn in it, and the new PDF is made on your device.
Is my signature saved
No. It stays in the page memory while the tab is open and is not written to the browser storage or sent anywhere.
Is this a digital signature
It is an image of your signature placed on the page, a simple electronic signature. It does not contain a certificate.
Can I sign on my phone
Yes. Draw with your finger in the signature box. Turning the phone sideways gives more room.
Sign the next document on your phone
Open the file from Mail, Messages or Files, add your signature and send back a flattened PDF. Everything stays on your iPhone.
